What the best size image to get full screen images on most monitors? These are stills, JPEGS. Right now, my images are quite large in file size and the program's ok with this, but what is the optimum size?

This should be simple. I am new to this and just bought the program. When I load several images onto the program, I click on the preview button and the first picture is perfect. It fills the entire screen as it should. The next image, and every subsequent image after that is no longer full screen ...
