Re: Rapid PHP 2020 alter base HTML template

Oops? Never mind. I found it. It's stored in %appdata%\Blumentals\Rapid PHP\templates\HTML\Default.htm

I don't know HOW I could have missed it. Silly Dave! :)

Rapid PHP 2020 alter base HTML template

I just upgraded to Rapid PHP 2020 (16.0.0.224) from an earlier version, and I was wondering if there's a way to alter the "base" HTML template that you see when you create a new file (File -> New -> HTML). Right now, the HTML code that appears on the page looks like this: <!DOCTYPE HTML> <html ...

I feel your pain. Been there myself a time or four. I'm a patient person, so no worries. :)

Re: Sharing library snippets with others

This is something that I would be VERY interested in for use with Rapid PHP, as it's my go to IDE. If possible, I'd like to at least know about your progress, and would be more than happy to beta test whatever you come up with. If you're interested, please send me a PM so that we can share contact ...

Interesting problem with RegEx Replace - Rapid PHP 14.3

Hi, all. Before I get into my issue, let me give you my specs: OS: Windows 10 Professional, most recent build IDE: Rapid PHP 2016 Version 14.3 (14.3.0.187) Ok, here's what I'm seeing. If I do a RegEx search/replace for the pattern \_(\W) with the string *\1 it doesn't use the captured group, but ...

Re: How did you find out about Blumentals Software?

I know, I've gone and raised the dead with this post. I'm sort of good at that. :P I've been designing "web pages" since before there even was a "web" (I used to design interfaces and games for dialup BBS systems), and over the years I've used a lot of different IDE's, from Notepad to (GASP ...

Rapid PHP -> Format PHP -> Keep atomic IF on one line

Hello, all! :) This request may seem a bit "nit-picky", but it's a source of annoyance to me, so I thought I would ask about it. I'm putting it in Feature Requests instead of Bugs because it looks as if it's something that is just missing, rather than not working as expected. Anyway, here's the ...

Thanks, Aivars. It's working perfectly. Again, kudos for the fast response. [thumbs-up]

Re: Double-clicking a variable results in strange behavior

Great! Thanks to you and the team, Aivars. I'm very satisfied with not only Rapid PHP, but with the level and quality of the support you folks offer. Many kudos! :D

Re: Double-clicking a variable results in strange behavior

Ok, I've taken the time to first save a list of open files (so I can continue working on things when I'm done testing), closed all open files, then closed Rapid PHP. I then reopened it, and created a new JavaScript source file. I inserted a generic jquery function call, and inserted the line "var ...

Re: Double-clicking a variable results in strange behavior

That's hard to say, as I often leave Rapid PHP open all of the time. I'll close it and do some testing, and will report back shortly. I'm currently in the middle of a 3D render for another project, so it may take me a half hour or so to get to this.

[RESOLVED] Dbl-clicking variable results in strange behavior

Ever since the most recent version of Rapid PHP 2016 (build 183), I've noticed some strange, intermittent behavior when I try to select a variable when double-clicking on it. I've created a video that demonstrates this issue, below:

Re: Rapid PHP 2016 loses focus when autocomplete is used

That fixed the problem. I re-enabled the titlebar overlay (Actual Multiple Monitors, by Actual Tools), and gave the new build a try. Sure enough, I no longer lose focus when autocomplete kicks in. A huge "Thank You" to Aivars and the team for taking care of this issue!

Re: Rapid PHP 2016 loses focus when autocomplete is used

Thank you, Aivars. I just downloaded the latest build, but won't be able to check it out until tomorrow, as I have other duties to attend to. I'll post back once I've tested it to report my findings.
