Password Protect Folders

Postby Pat Lynn » Mon Jul 23, 2012 1:26 am

Bought Password Protector a few years ago and am delighted with it. Just wanted to know are there any plans now or in the future to add the option of password protecting folders or directories. I can't believe that there is no "easy" way to password protect a folder like it is for files. Can this be done?

We considered trying to add this feature a few years ago but didn't find enough demand for it. I guess for now you'll have to keep your confidential files in password protected zip archives. Not convenient but at least it's a way to do it.
