Rolling back the system clock

Post by Guest »

My kids have found that by setting the system clock back a few hours they can trick Inet Protector into enabling the internet connection. Is there anyway to prevent someone from adjusting the clock?

P.s. I'm running Windows XP Home.

In the Settings window under Options, select Block settings to the system time.

If you do not have this option, you must be running an old version, please uninstall your version and re-download and re-install the software (if you are registered customer, you must re-download from the links provided in your registration info e-mail).

The system time issue is a concerfn for me as well considering how resoursefull kids can be.

If they manage to get into safe mode will your program still be able to stop them from changing the system time?

Whenever the program runs, it protects the system time.

Strange, I am not able to reproduce the problem. I'll inform our developers about this.
