Boot/Login Default to Disabled

Let us know what you would like to see in the next version of iNet Protector

Boot/Login Default to Disabled

Postby Wingrm » Sun Nov 21, 2004 8:26 am

I'd really like to be able to set the software to always default to the disabled internet setting at boot up and Login. That way, any user wishing to log in and use the internet would have to supply the password. Now, the default at startup/login is whatever the software was set to at the end of the previous session.

Thanks much
Wingrm

Yes, I agree with Wingrm. I need to be know for certain that when the computer boots up, it is NOT on the internet, not what is's last state was.
I manage twenty computers for students and we allow internet use only under supervision.

I would also like to be able to hit the timer button and have a selectable default amount of time be placed on the timer, 30 or 40 minutes.

I'll check this with developers. If it is feasable, we will add the feature.

Any progress on that? This is a major point!
