Idle Timeout Request (moved)

Postby LoreeH » Tue Dec 13, 2005 4:01 pm

Sorry, originally posted this in the Support forum by mistake.

I think someone else mentioned this, but I would love it if iNet had an idle timeout. Say if there has been no activity on the computer for a user defined amount of time, iNet would automatically disable the internet. I tend to get up to do something and get distracted, only to realize later that the computer is still sitting just as I left it, with the browser open and no lock in sight.
Having to retype a password is much more preferable than having the internet connection sitting wide open.

BTW, this program is fantastic! I've got a teenager with no self control, and before I found iNet I had to log off and password protect the user account. Unfortunately that meant my younger boy couldn't access the offline software without me there to log on. iNet Proctector solved all that! :D

Dear Loree,

Thanks for your post. Actually we are currently searching for ways to implement this. Hopefully a solution will be found.

Have a nice Christmas time!
