Keyboard Shortcuts

I have been trying to edit files on a server by ftp and have discovered that the system keyboard shortcuts don't work. The shortcuts I assign to clips in my library work fine on these files.

I have been using Webuilder for sometime, but usually use a different program for editing files on the server. Has this always been the case or is this a new problem (I am using version 7.01)? If I am doing something wrong, what might it be? If this is a "feature" why? It seriously hampers Webuilder's usuability.

Ok, I tried on another server and the shortcuts work fine. I am not sure what the problem is other than with the one particular server. :?
