Clipboard panel and other...

Post by maravizzo »

Hi Karlis,

I've just bought the new version of Rapid PHP (the last RC).
I'm definitely enjoying the new features :) but there are a couple of thighs I cannot find...

What happened at the clipboard panel? It has disappeared from the View menu!
I consider it quite useful, so I hope its absence is just a bug of the RC version...

Among the new features: CVS / SVN Support via 3rd party TortoiseSVN. I can't find it...

Then I tried to customize the Context menu, but when I try to drag and drop a function from the customize window to the Expressbar submenu editors, it minimizes itself. Have I found a bug?

Last question, not very important, actually: it is possible to add a separator (the vertical line) when customizing the toolbars?

Thank you
Bye

Hmm, it's not in my menu either, but I do have the clipboard panel open, somehow!

Happens to me as well, in fact the context menu minimizes (you can only see the title bar) as soon as I click into the "customize" window.

There should be Extended Clipboard under Edit menu.

That is ok for the menu to minimize, just drag items over the minimized part, it will expand.

I think I can help out with the CVS/Subversion question. I just added my current project to a repository this morning.
  • - Find, download, and install TortoiseSVN. It is a shell extension that will allow you to do SVN stuff from the right-click menu.
    - Use TortoiseSVN to add/import/export/update your files to/with your repository if it hasn't been done already.
    - Open WeBuilder, enable the file explorer, right click on any file or folder then select "Use Shell Menu". This will enable TortoiseSVN in the file explorer.
It works wonderfully for me so I hope you have a good experience with it also!

Note: For those who are interested, I found a nice hosted SubVersion provider at http://www.beanstalkapp.com. They even have a free account for small-timers like me.
