Tried to reproduce the problem, but could not.
The only thing I noticed that the search scope changes from "Entire scope" to "From cursor", which I need to check if it is correct or not.
If you have "Wrap at end", then those settings should have not effect.

As for "Ĩ" changing to "c" - what do you exactly do for this to happen?
Kind regards,

Now I know how this happen, follow me:
1. Open search box
2. Type in the search box some unknown word like -> Mac and press button Find next
3. now rename this word into this word -> MaĨ and again press Find next
...and u'll see that keyword change from MaĨ to Mac.

Other problem is when you search with the letter -> Ĩ Search will find just letter -> c

I am afraid the problem still does not happen here and nobody else has reported similar problems.
You may want to switch on/off some search options and then try again, as it could happen that this happens only under some specific settings.
Maybe you can send a screenshot of your Find window to our support email address. Thanks!
Kind regards,

I can replicate this problem:
  • New HTML Page
  • Copy the word PlaĨevati from MasterDee's post above, and paste this into the body of the page
  • CTRL+F to find.
  • Put Ĩ into the Search for box
  • Click Find Next
The Ĩ in the Search for box will now have changed to c
Keep pressing Find Next, and not only will it stop at every c on the page, but will also still find the Ĩ

I've managed to upload a screen capture of this happening:

The Unicode support for the search box is partial. It means your system default non-Unicode encoding must be set to that encoding which supports characters you would like to use. I will see if this can be improved.
