Firstly, I have to say that Webuilder is an excellent product - I have used it previously to develop a couple of sites... but I now use Nusphere phped because it has much more sophisticated debugging features (unless I am missing something beyond the xdebug feature). For example, it is possible to watch a range of variables, be able to view all variables at any point, drill down into post, get, session or user created arrays... these are features I find essential to debugging complex web applications.
Now I really want to get back to Webuilder - it has much better support for CSS, HTML and Javascript than phped, which is a specialised PHP tool. For this to happen I would need to see a debugger with features similar to those currently offered by phped. Is this planned at any point? Unless it is then I'm afraid I will have to stick with phped.
Whether or not it is planned, keep up the good work, this is a product that deserves to do well.

Re: Fully featured debugger
I agree that it would be very nice, and the logical progression of debugging support, to add things like a watch window, stack trace window, expression evaluation window, etc.
The most important of these would be a windows to watch (and modify) variable values. Using a mouse-over tooltip is OK for the occasional variable inspection, but there really needs to be something a bit more industrial strength.
Are there any plans along this line?
