The other day iNet Protector did its job and turned off Internet access for one of my children at the appointed hour. I was at work. They needed a bit more time to finish some online research. They called me and I had to give them the master password so they could get back online (which, of course, I later changed).
It would be nice if iNet Protector had a button a user could click on and then enter a ONE-TIME only password for an additional hour of use. Presuming they knew the password they would get the extra time, but the password only works ONCE.
It would be even nicer if the administrator of iNet Protector could preset the number of minutes that would be granted when the one-time password is used. Also, perhaps the software could store several one-time passwords and show which have been used.
A way to grant a user additional minutes one-time only
Re: A way to grant a user additional minutes one-time only
I would also like to have this feature.
It is present in other Internet restricting software like e.g. KidsWatch, ENUFF and Child Control.
Ideally it should be implemented as a number of one-time passwords as in Child Control.
