AVG just flagged WeBuilder file as Trojan

Hi,

I assume this is a false positive but has anyone else had AVG virus scanner (on Win XP) flag the file WeBuilder 2008/libmysql.dll as a Trojan (Trojan horse Generic10.BDRA).

Can I ignore this?

I doubt very much that this would be viral - the file probably just exhibits some 'virus-like' behaviour or something AVG sees as potentially dangerous. It would be safe to ignore it, though if you want to be sure you can upload the file to any of the various services around the web that check over things like that and report whether it is some new virus or just a false positive.

I am assuming your machine scans clean otherwise....

Update:
The file is clean. Online tests showed the file to be clean and AVG found nothing after its daily update.

AVG turns out its shows many false positives.
I suggest NOD32, much better.

I would like to ask you to help us and submit a complaint with your anti-virus vendor. This is very important for them to see that registered users are complaining. Usually such problems are corrected within a couple of weeks, if enough people bother them.
