After an "incident" yesterday it would be very useful if the preview tabs (Code Editor / Preview / Horizontal Split / Verticle Split) could be hidden or disabled.
I don't use the preview, but yesterday I accidentally clicked on the "Preview" tab and ran a script that did some very horrible stuff to a database. (this happened as the script was the 2nd of 4 scripts in a sequence, and so didn't run with any parameters, so it got in a right mess)
I took the short-cut keys off to switch between the views a long time ago, but hiding the tabs would also be great.
Cheers,
Mike

Re: Disable / hide the preview tabs
+1 from me ... I don't need them either. If your work with big frameworks and code in some class files - those preview panes make no sense. Especially if you work often via ftp.
