Is this "v9.5.2.106" the correct version label? WeBuilder about box shows me v9.5.1.105 and the "Check for New Version ..." says I'm all ready running the latest version ... is something out of sync here? or Am I missing something?

Okay... I downloaded the update and installed it and it showed the subject version label. In v9.5.1.105 "Check for New Version" didn't find the update... hope this didn't get broken..., very useful for staying current. In fact (I know not the right section) but that would be a nice "option"al feature, configurable to set up when automatic checks are done - personally I check once a week...

Sorry, but sometimes the version number is not correct. Besides, there is also the German version which is a bit behind the English version right after the updates. This will change with next major version 2010, when we will have much better localization possibilities.

Just tested this. At least current version shows the right version number 9.5.2.106 in the About dialog box of WeBuilder 2008.
If "Check for New Version" says you are on the latest version, then you are ok.

Because, there are other people who are not like you
We have no intention to drop existing update announcements here in user forum.
But twitter will allow people who have not interest to open our page regularly to be informed if there are any updates . Current update anouncement mechanism is not very user friendly and we want to improve it.
Besides, twitter also has RSS which the phpBB does not seem to have.

Hm... it was late indeed, hopwever it has been released some time ago already.

Now the good news, version 2010 will integrate both languages so no separate German version in the future and timely updates at all times. I have understood that the present situation with updating the German version is not very good.
