Check for new php version?

Post by MaxD »

I use the webuilder built in php server. New versions of php get released from time to time, so perhaps webuilder could 'check for the latest version' like here?: http://www.blumentals.net/download/php.php

Also sometime in the near future I plan to part with some hard earned cash to buy a new laptop (blu ray rewriter be nice with 4gb DDR3 quad core...) and will probably go for the Windows 7 option. Will webuilder 2010 work OK with this?

WeBuilder works fine in Vista and therefore works fine in Windows 7.

As for the 'Check latest version....' thats a huge maintenance thing to do. I can only see it being useful for a small percentage of people.

Was there a 2009 version? Thought it went from 2008 to 2010!

:-) Thought for a moment there you'd been given access to 'the secret version'. Only a select few have access to the version that has ALL the feature requests built into it...

How do we get to be a part of the "select few"? There has to be a way.

I don't know. I offered to rub oil on Karlis' broken leg but that didn't work.

So, threatening to break the other one is probably not a good idea either, huh?
