Just upgraded to Webuilder 2010 version 10.01and now when I have several files open the find box is no longer persistent when I move from one page tab to another, and has to be selected each time. Has the action of this feature changed, or is there an option somewhere I need to select to make it work as before?

Re: Find Box
Which find box do you mean? The toolbar?
From which version did you upgrade?

Re: Find Box
Hi
I think from memory I upgraded from Webuilder 2009.
By find box what I really mean is the dialogue box that opens when you Click search and then find. This used to persist when I moved across open files. Something I've done or not done?
Thanks
Paul

Re: Find Box
Hm, nothing has changed in this area. When you have Find window open, if you click on document tabs, Find window still stays open (floating on top), but it is no longer focused because main windows gets focused, you must click the floating Find window to reactivate it, so it was in version 2008.
If it happens differently for you, please describe how did you manage to do so?

Hi
Now I'm really puzzled. I've just gone back and checked, and yes that is just what it is doing tonight. But for some reason that wasn't the case last night, honest. Instead of being unfocussed, it was disappearing off the screen all together and you had to open the dialogue box again.
Maybe it was some sort of system issue that cleared when I booted up this evening....
I really don't know. Any way all is OK now.
Sorry to have bothered you.

PS Great programme by the way. It's been my editor of choice for a few years now.

Re: Find Box
It is difficult to say. If it comes back, the easiest thing to do is to restart WeBuilder. But if it happens too often then you must figure out the steps that lead to the problem so that we can reproduce and fix it.
