Karlis, my new operating system is Windows Vista 64. I note that Inet Protector does not run under this OS. Will that change any time soon? Hope so. Thanks,

Hi,

I am afraid Windows Vista 64-bit, also Windows 7 64-bit operating systems are not currently supported. Only 32-bit versions are supported currently.
We are receiving quite a few of problem reports regarding 64-bit systems, but currently we can not do much about this issue.
We are using some components that have only 32-bit version support, and until we receive updated versions for 64-bit systems, iNetProtector will stay a 32-bit product only.

All I can say at this point. We have ideas (possible solutions) how to add 64-bit support, but large portion of the software will have to be written from ground up and it may take months if not a year or more. But if there is demand, we will do our best to fill in.

So feel free to post your thoughts. And I will update when we have some news.

Hi Karlis, sorry i missed you response. I understand the progam does not support a 64 bit OS. But that seems to be the direction of the future. I use my inet Protector on my 32 bit system (Windows XP), but would love to use it on my Windows Vista 64 bit os. I am now looking to find a substitute program. Sorry I can't stay with your program. hopefully you can update.

We plan to be able to offer a 64-bit version by the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011, if the technical challenges can be overcome.
