SubMenu Direction

Post by ipster »

So I'm a dummy, and have not even gotten to inserting into the website yet.Soon I hope
Using the Pro Version I beleive? Anyhow not the free trial version.
I've got the main buttons across the top of the page, with addtional drop downs,
I'd like the drop downs from the right hand most buttons to open the sub menus to the left.
Is this possible?
If its a code insert, I'll need step by step....
Thanks

At the present moment sub-menus can be opened on the right only. So you are doing everything right, there is simply no such feature that allows them to open to the left, because right-side is standard usability convention for sub-menus and users are used to this.

Exception would be right-side vertical menu, but these are currently not yet supported.

Thanks
The right side vertical seems as stable as the Horiz., I've unfortunately given up realizing
how many IE8 users are probably in the world.
Best of luck I'll check back in a few months to see if there's any fix for the IE8
& Opera (all subs are tranparent, in Opera 9, and in Beta10 not working)

Thanks

Its just aesthetics I've been working on a "centered" css/ASPNet
so I thought if at the right hand side it could possiblyopen to the left
it could help in the overall feel. Not a nuts and bolts issue though.

At the present moment eight-side opening is not supported. You may attempt to fix this using CSS, but it is not recommended to do so.

There should be no problems with regular left-side opening menus in any web browser (unless you have created a CSS conflict using your CSS code).

We will try to include right-side menu support in the future.
