Yes, Screensaver Factory and screensavers you can create with it, are compatible with Windows 7.

I just installed Windows 7 and downloaded the latest Screensaver Factory 4 and it will not create any new screensavers even though I am using the same pics and music as before, just a slightly different name (ex: oldname_1). It also will not run previously created screensavers - the screen goes blank and I have to restart the system to clear the problem. Do I need to go to Screensaver Factory 5?

I'm assuming you mean Screensaver Factory 6 instead of Screensaver Factory 4. If so, please check the version number and if it's less than 6.03 then update it here: http://www.blumentals.net/scrfactory/download.php
