How to get rid of trojan horse computer virus? My computer some how got a trojan horse virus. How do I get rid of it? I have Avg free but I don't know how to get rid of it please help.

AVG is famous for providing false positives when in fact there isnt.
Have you tried another virus scanner?
IMHO, the better virus scanner to have is ESOS NOD32 Antivirus 4 BUT it is a commercial product but well worth the price.

You can always send the suspicious file to www.virustotal.com in order to analyze it. They use a lot of antivirus and sometimes the analysis is already done for the file.
