Migrating Settings from 2007 >> 2008
I had done a great deal of customization to the tool bar and right-click menu in Webuilder 2007. I followed the instructions to import all setting into 2008, but my tool bar and right-click customizations did not come over. Where are those preferences held? How can I get them to import?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Everything can be exported EXCEPT the toolbar layouts and popup menu layout. This is a technical problem that we can not overcome at this point... I do hate to say this, indeed
This is because with each new version the toolbar system is changed and allowing to use old settings files most often cause a lot of bugs and errors, thus we do not allow to use them, although at your own risk you can try this. Just copy your old layout files from folder layouts\8.0 to layouts\9.0
Apart from this, all other settings should be transferable, no problem.

I did copy the layouts from 8.0. to 9.0 with no issues so far. I did have to go in and add "Edit this HTML tag..." to the right-click menu since we now have that. I love having that addition, by the way! I'm oficially done with Homesite.

Ok. Good that it works for me.
I must say, though, we have not tested the layout compatibility and I can not say thet there will be no bugs, though I hope everything will be ok.

2008 is a very old version, I don't have it on any of the computers anymore. But I think toolbar customizations are not exported because toolbars change from version to version.

Im not talking about toolbar settings. by example all ftp settings/accounts not imported. so they are not saved in the folder settings. I wonder there is no function in menu bar "import settings".
Re: Migrating Settings from 2007 >> 2008
The newest beta from http://www.webuilderapp.com makes setting import/export easier. It can now be done from the menu.
