Support for .less CSS

Post by ank »

http://lesscss.org/

This CSS syntax is becoming quite popular. Are there any plans to add support for it in Rapid PHP / WB ?

+1 on this. I basically just logged into the forum to request it!

What I'd like to see is the option to generate the CSS files automatically.

I don't know if this is possible, but I'd like this to happen over FTP? Is that possible?

I have the latest version of WB 2014 and I don't see a way to use it to compile LESS. Am I missing it or is it not added yet?

+1 for {less} from me!

At least syntax highlighting for LESS files should be supported!

Syntax is already supported in 2015 beta version.

We considered bundling the compiler but as it requires java or node (both enormous), it's not feasible for now.

Update: I think this tool might be one of the best options: http://winless.org/ - you can use it together with the editor.
