Hi
Example:
1. <!DOCTYPE HTML>
Ctrl+Enter = <br>
2. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
Ctrl+Enter = <br />
The BR tag for HTML5 Doctype should have slash also or may be I can find this somewhere in options? My tries to find didn't bring me some result.
No slash at the end of the tab for HTML5 Doctype

Re: No slash at the end of the tab for HTML5 Doctype
http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec-author-vie ... -start-tag - #6. As you can see, the slash on self-closing tags is optional in HTML5, in fact it was only left in for backwards compatibility with the old XHTML standard.
