Why do I have a stationary frame in the middle of my animati

Never done this before. Ok I have my 8month old grandson riding a horse in my animation but the pic stays stationary in the center while he rides in and out of the frames how do I get that out so I have 1 fluid movement with 1 picture. And my background has not stayed transparent after saving the( I tried with both png and gif)the animation to avi or gif. Can I get some lessons somewhere?
