RapidPHP 2014 latest: Preview problems

Post by jobowo »

Having the same occasional difficulty with Preview as I had with 2012: the preview isn't refreshing when I change the script (it shows the output of a previous version of the script). However, 2014 is also occasionally not showing anything at all! Clicking 'refresh' occasionally does the trick but not always.

Not expecting a resolution to this, as it doesn't appear to be a general problem and I had no resolution last time I posted. If anyone else is having the same problem this might be reassurance that they are not the only ones and perhaps some sort of explanation might be forthcoming at some point. I suspect a problem with the IE previewer: that it is retrieving a previous cached page for preview instead of recognizing a change in the page.

Maybe you can resolve this by lowering caching aggressiveness in IE settings. I can't guarantee this is the problem but it might work.
