File Transfer Dialog cancel button

I have had the file transfer dialog hang for sometimes and it appears that the cancel button doesn't work or doesn't appear to do anything. Is this a bug?

Yes, it is a known problem which only occurs on some computers and only with rare FTPs. As soon as we become able to reproduce the problem, it will be fixed. FTP is being improved all the time, hopefully this problem will be also solved.

I have not made a note of this because I am unable to reproduce the problem, but in certain cases when the ftp hangs, it will eventually time out; however, when you go back to edit the file you get a message, something like "Temp file no longer exists". So I close the file go back and open the file using ftp and the file is empty.

Is this also part of the same problem or a related issue? I wish I could reproduce but I can't.
