RapidPHP2015 Latest

Post by jobowo »

Possibly because they are buried in all the IE comments related to PREVIEW I haven't been able to find any reference to the use of Internet Explorer for Help in PHP.

My system default browser is WaterFox (Firefox) Why is RapidPHP choosing Internet Explorer to display Help web pages when I press F1? I can't seem to find any way of changing this behaviour. I can understand (although I'm not happy about it) the use of IE for preview but that's an internal function. There seems to be no technical reason for choosing to use something other than my defined default browser, and certainly not a browser that I really don't trust and don't want to use more than I have to.

My default browser is Firefox and F1 opens in Firefox, so it's not a universal behavior. I suspect that something is not quite right with associations on your computer, maybe IE has stolen "open link" command from WaterFox? Open Control Panel\Programs\Default Programs\Set Associations and see what you have for HTTP (without dot).
