Version 14.4 (14.4.0.188) typing ="" issues?

Anybody getting a hang when typing
like class=""

it just freezes and hangs.
never used to hang and I keep having to stop, grab code and reset. Then put code back in because it won't save.
This is html -
sometimes with .js links and or .asp pages.

Is the 'inspector' window visible? if so disable the 'inspector' toolbar window (View --> Inspector). I have crash errors on html elements when this window is enabled.

Update: this in only on the new 2018 version

bxm42: Can you test if the same happens with 2018? I can think of 2 reasons for this 1) it's looking for related files (css, js) in some slow location, e.g. a network drive 2) you have a huge project selected, try selecting a smaller project and see if you still get the hangs

Rony: please send those crash reports in when you get them, that's the whole point of the beta.

in 14.1.0.185 it is really slow in large projects as well. The id="" of course too.

thanks yes the 2018 Beta seems to be working better - no seen issues -or hangs so far - G
