frame number limitations?

Is there a maximum number of frames you can input? I got to around 340 or so and started getting errors while trying to import new ones.

There is no specific limit, however please note that there is a limit that your PC can handle, 340 is a way to high, you should have no more than 100, because GIF format is designed mainly for short animations that can be used on the web.

If you need to have longer animations, please consider using video or flash solutions.
