WeBuilder making automatic .bak files. How to stop this?
I just had to rebuild my system and reinstall WeBuilder. It is now creating automatic filename.php.bak files. I can not find the setting to stop this behavior. Please help.

Please, can anyone help me with this? I've looked through the options and preferences multiple times and can not figure out how to stop this behavior. I would appreciate your help.

Go to menu Options -> Preferences -> Files -> Backups. Uncheck "Create file backups on save".

Yep. That did it 
I had looked at that setting but it looked like it was making backup copies to another folder so I didn't think it also functioned to create those .bak files. Live and Learn Thank you!
