VIDS:DVSD Decompressor

Screensaver Factory will not play avi files. Error message appears: "Video not availabe. cannot find 'vids:dsvd' decompressor". The video plays well in all other products (i.e. premiere, WMP, etc. ).

Will the missing 'vids:dsvd' decompressor be an issue when the screensaver is released to other machines?

Does the same video file play correctly in Windows Media Player on the same computer?

If you use non standard video compression, the decompressor must be installed on the target machine.
