PHP Class/Object Inspector, and Bookmarks

Post by Lewcifer »

I've just purchased WeBuilder 2006 for PHP development. I'm an old and seasoned full-time developer, and must say that the product is fast to load and easy/convenient to use. The 2006 version is even a bit more helpful than the prior (2005) version. Congratulations... job well-done.

I notice the product includes an "inspector." In a prior product that I used, if I pointed to a PHP class file (such as in my library) it would list all the members and methods of the class. Is there a way to enable WeBuilder to do the same?

Also, I use bookmarks quite a bit when developing long code blocks. But the bookmarks do not "save" - they're gone once you reopen a file. Can this be corrected in the future? Another thing... there's no hotkey for toggling and searching bookmarks, making their frequent use inconvenient.

Again, thanks for a great product (as compared to many of the other products I've used).

You can define bookmark hotkeys yourself, using Options menu.

Bookmark saving is a feature planned for the future versions.

The PHP class members should be listed correctly, no changes were made to that feature, if you believe that it is not working, please send your PHP file to our support e-mail for inspection.

Thanks!
