using special code loose color codes

Post by notuo »

Hi...

I am using a form processor that uses an special syntax for some commands: [< >]

When I insert those commands I lost the rest of the color codes in the edit window, making hard to edit it.

Is there a way to define [< as a opening special bracket and >] as an closing special bracket?

Thanks for any help on this.

I'm not sure, I understand your request completely. Do you mean that you would net [< to be perceived as a bracket, like ( so that bracket highlighting feature colors it up?

Yes, that's correct.

Is the same as having /* */ looking as one item each.

This can be defined by the user.

Looking into this, check this code:

Code: Select all

<table><tr>
<td valign="top" colspan="2"><p class="c5">[< (ifcond( ([d_scholarship]==1),("Si "),("No "))) >] Solicita beca </p></td>
</tr>
</table>
Looses the color codes after the =1),("Si ")

If I insert a blank just after the comma as

Code: Select all

<table><tr>
<td valign="top" colspan="2"><p class="c5">[< (ifcond( ([d_scholarship]==1), ("Si "),("No "))) >] Solicita beca </p></td>
</tr>
</table>
Color codes are correct.

Currently only valid HTML is supported, what you have entered is not considered as valid HTML, because by specification, HTML does not allow [< (ifcond ... tags. This looks like some new language to me. What is it?

Actually is not a language. They are command for a form processor.

Maybe you want to do a better version that this one... Has some issues and is not updated long ago. I have to use it because many forms of a customer of mine are using this processor.

New business?

Cheers
