Autosave for RapidPHP ?

Post by stiffneck »

Using RapidPHP 2025 ver 18.1.0.264

Did anything ever come out of this suggestion from 2006 about getting an autosave function to save your work every x minutes?

viewtopic.php?p=3074#p3074

I have just worked for several hours and was sure I saved the PHP code back to a remote server and to my local hard drive several times during that time. About to stop working, I closed dozens of unrelated windows that I had open but also inadvertently closed RapidPHP.
Imagine my dismay when I reopened RapidPHP to find myself more or less back where I was several hours ago with none of my new coding showing.

Other software I use has this feature and it seems rather trivial to do, just a timer that increments an integer and saves the open tabs to files with the incremented integer appended to the filename every time the timer fires.

If it's not implemented in the current version, is there a plugin that does this or can someone point me towards how I can write such a thing?
