Anoying behavior

Post by notuo »

Hi Karlis.

I found this the other day:

I had in the clipboard a link (without http://) like
domain.com
I then tried to insert the link in a file using the proper button, I paste the link in the URL field and (here is the catch) if I want to add the http:// part I click on the quick pick ant the pasted link was erased. Not abig deal but kind of anoying.

If you first click inthe quick pick and then paste the link works fine.

Regards,

Karlis. Another thing here, a NFS:

If you want to link to a bookmark in another file, there is no way to do this directly. Now you have to:

select the file
and manually insert the bookmark

Again if you selct the file and then choose bookmarks on the left the file is cleared in the window.

I hope to have choose the file, then choose bookmark and then choose the bookmark from a list.

maybe in one step the bookmark can be from another file, so have that chance in the bookmark option in that window.

Makes sense?

Currently files are not parsed, so when you select a file we do not know what bookmarks are there in. Somebody has suggested this, but we need to write a parsing algorithm first, so we will not be able to add this in the nearest time but in a long perspective - it is possible.
