another random bug in 2007 RC

when you use the search and then use F3 to go to the next result everything works fine. keep pressing F3, when you reach the last occurrence the little message pops up "unable to find search string" so far so good. when you click "ok" to acknowledge the "unable to find search string" an error pops up that says "cannot focus a disabled or invisible window".

Click-by-click instructions to reproduce would be appreciated. Unfortunately this is too little of data.

use alt+F to open the find dialog;
enter a search string;
click "find next";
close the find dialog;
press "F3" to locate the next occurrence of the search string;
continue pressing "F3" until there is a notice that says "search string not found";
click ok to close the notice and an error will pop up that says "cannot focus a disabled or invisible window"

Well I have the same problem with WeBuilder 2007 (8.0.2.77) when I open files via FTP file explorer.
Sometimes I use the "replace all" feature on such an opened file ... everything works correct, but after the "xxx replacements were made." message, I also get the error message "Cannot focus a disabled or ivisible window."

Annoying :?

Multiline Replace

Post by Mike Block »

This "Cannot Focus a Disabled or Invisible Window" error is appearing on any multi-line replacement in WeBuilder 2007 8.31 (8.3.1.81) and the previous version I was using. Pretty easy to repeat. Open replace dialogue, change to multiline mode, entter a couple line returns (for example), and replace with a single line (for example). After indicating the result, and clicking OK, the error above always displays.
