Save problem (at least I think...)

Save problem (at least I think...)

Hello there :D, If I modify my site and try to save, this is what happen:
1. In the HTMLPad 2007 (trial) changes seems to be done and everything is nice. I Save with Ctrl+S.
2. Opening directly the site folder, the file aren't modified (you can see it jus open the .css file with notepad).
3. I close HTMLPad. And in the site folder nothings change: htm and css file are just like before work on them.
4. I reopen HTMLPad 2007 and reopen the file (one htm one css) and the changes I've made are there! But I can't find those file, even if I replace them by "Save as" option.

The only way I can save the file, and have them for an HTMLPad external preview, is change the file names.

Probably I've to set something.

If you're opening the file with HTMLPad and the file has changed, then that file has got to exist somewhere.

Whats your operating system?

I run XP.

I looked for the file in the program folders and in the program option to see where it save the file, but I could't solve it!

Obviously you have been editing another file or something, because if there was a bug in saving files one of several thousands of other users would have reported it already.

Please make sure you open and edit the correct file.

Hi,

WeBuilder shows you the full path to the file currently opened in the title bar at the top of the window.

eg:
WeBuilder 2007 - [C:\somefolder\myfile.htm]

That should be where the file is.
