Two little requests

Post by Michael83 »

Hi,

I bought a license for RapidPHP some time ago and I'm really happy with it. I used PSPad before and I have two things I would like to see in RapidPHP, too.

1. It would be nice to have a button or even better a shortcut do activate/deactivate word wrapping.

2. I would like to be able to change the encoding of a file in the menu. In PSPad it was in Format -> ANSI/UTF-8/...

Thanks!

For your point #1, go to 'Options' and click 'Keyboard shortcuts'. Select 'Wordwrap' and assign a keyboard shortcut.
For point #2, do you mean the HTML encoding? ('HTML' -> 'Encoding') You can set whether its ISO, UTF8, etc.

1) Thanks a lot! I knew I overlooked something.

2) No. I mean the encoding of the files.

The status bar at the bottom of the window displays the cursor location, file size and character encoding being used for the page. Clicking on the encoding in WeBuilder produces a pop up from which you can select from three different encodings. I assume Rapid PHP would let you do the same.
