Im looking for something that will take

’ and convert it to '
“ and convert it to "

etc. My old app did this but doesnt seem like WeBuilder2007 has this ability. Am i missing something?

If it were just 2 characters that would be fine. However MS Word even has an alternate space character that shows up as a box on a linux server. There are at least 20 characters (High-ISO) that MS Word incorporates and will not render on a linux server. Homesite and Dreamweaver both have this feature Im not sure why WeBuilder Doesnt. the Special Characters to Entities should be able to convert those but i dont think any of the High ISO characters are in there. Is there a fine I can modify and upload to improve that script a bit? If you guys point me in the right direction ill modify it and upload it so you all can use it. I cant imagine the heartache every other linux based site developer must go through when clients give them word files to use as content.
