...I don't know what was going on, but...

...occasionally, that and other odd behaviors in WeBuilder will occur until I carefully shut it down and reload.

I carefully reloaded, carefully checked "Display detailed results", and the expected behavior returned (and the box remained checked for future searches).

Other examples of behaviors requiring occasional WeBuilder reloads (possibly involving memory management) are loading large numbers of files. For example, I have a folder consisting of 77 htm files. I had to make a series of changes to the 77 files (changes to <meta> records in all the files) and I thought to load them all, and make the change in one fell swoop. WeBuilder encountered difficulties at about the 65th file...I think it was "unable to open separate window" or some such?

But, all in all, I must admit, this is usage error on my part, and I apologize for having posted an unruly and slovenly error report...

I was having the same problem as "albo": results only showed the filename, and only the first match on each page (subsequent matches were missing), and no code snippets. The "delete layouts" fix did not work for me.

I un-installed (and removed all traces of) RapidPHP 2007 and 2008, then reinstalled 2008. With default settings, everything worked as it should. The minute I tried to import my RapidPHP 2007 settings (using the .reg file generated by "Options->Export Settings") into 2008 (thinking that it would bring over my key assignments, snippets, etc.), that's when the above problem showed up.

So, moral of the story: Don't export 2007 settings into 2008? :)

Should not be. The only problems will arise when trying to export layouts. So NO LAYOUT IMPORT/EXPORT between 2007/8, it can mess up things. The rest of the settings are exportable/importable just fine. We will be working to improve this.
