dockFilex

Post by Borstenson »

When WeBuilder 2006 7.20.68 is opened, but I haven't used it for a while - in other words, if the program did not have the focus for some time - and when I put it to the foreground again, then there appear a couple of message boxes, all with the same message, reading:
"dockFilex has no parent window".

I don't think it has to do with my computer's hardware, but to prevent questions:
Windows 2000 SP 4, Pentium III 1000 MHz, 1280 MB SD-RAM, GeForce 2 (old machine, I know, I know; stop laughing, please!).

I wonder if I'm the only user with this phenomenon, because I haven't found anything about this strange behaviour in this forum.

Interestingly, Google only has one entry for that error - this forum!
Don't know if it will help you though...

I use WeBuilder, and it sits in the background bored most of the time - haven't noticed this error before...

Well, sometimes it happens and sometimes not, very stange. I'm not sure, but maybe it appears only after standby mode. I'll keep watching.

Thanks for the link, Chris, and I'll try the tips!
Anyway, it happens even if I use only the code window and none of all those layouts, but I always use to keep more than one file open in WeBuilder - at the moment, there are 10. This could be the point.
