[weBuilder 2006] Export project files (incl. FTP details)

I (or my company) would like to see an option, where we can save our project files (including all data like FTP details) to a network drive. So whenever someone in our company has to change a feature on a website, it is possible to browse to the network drive and open the specific project.

Currently we've to 'recreate' all projects (we got a LOT of them 75+) manually when we need to change something on a website.

Short: Export function for 'Projects' that include all details needed (incl. FTP details)

Update: Just to be clear, i don't mean that all files should be exported, just the path towards the files As most 'companies' would put this on a network drive that every employee can access.

yes, I'd prefer to be able to store more profiles - I do not need any FTP synchronization, as I am using subversion, but to be able quickly change between several projects

Yeah, we use Subversion too. FTP synchronisation ain't a function, that we would use either.

Not sure I understand. Are you referring to the project "settings" or is it something else.

Was searching on Forums a bit and only found this topic from 2007, so going to pick this up

I would really like an export feature for project settings, especially for FTP settings.
Save all project related data into a file or folder which is placed in the root of the project folder itself or somewhere else relative to the project content.

Very important for me is it to save the FTP data in the project and not at the PC im working at, so i can open the project from a different pc without adding every single FTP profile again.

The only editor with such a feature i found so far are Dreamweaver and some open source editor that looks like it is made for win95 ^^

Hi,

Why don't you use Export Settings Feature. Go to Main Menu; Options; "Export Settings".
Yes, this will export all settings, not only your Projects, but I doubt this will cause unwanted issues.
