Small annoyance with installer wizard...

Post by daveporter »

Hi everyone,

Thanks to Karlis and the team for the 2007 update....

One thing that has been a small annoyance is that the install wizard never remembers the Local Web Server at Step 7.

It always defaults to c:\htdocs even though mine is set to a different location.

cheers, Dave Porter

Yeah, i know, but if you leave it alone, it should not break your existing mappings. Does this bother you? If it does, we can try to do something about it.

Thanks Karlis,

I see what you mean - so in other words if I have previously set my proper mapping to this location, this won't replace it.

If that's the case then no issue !

regards, Dave

I shall look into it anyway. The best for you would be to select Cancel in Welcome wizard to keep your old settings.
