Hi
I just created my first screensaver, with 12 jpegs of around 30kb each.
So you'd assume the completed executable could be of the order of 360kb when finished.
However the final .exe, that allows auto install, is 1600kb.
I have no music, no titles - everything is trimmed down to the plain photos fading in and out.
Given that I hope lots of people will download my file, that's a lot of bandwidth.
Surely it's not meant to be that large?
Are there ways of reducing the size of the final exe?

Re: large .exe filesize
Did you select custom icon, add any logos or banner imagres or use any special features?
When you create a screensaver, around 800kb of data is added in addition to the size of your images. This contain the screensaver program (the machinery neded for your images to run as screensaver). So if your images are 360 kb, the total size should be around 1.2 Mb providing that you do not use any other features. Each additional feature may add some data.
