Rapid PHP - Debugging w/ Console Output

Post by dzz »

Hi,

Is it possible to read the output from php.exe console output as you are debugging? seems to only show the output file once the script terminates.

I am using the current build just downloaded with the recommended php installer that includes the xdebug. debugging itself is working fine just not sure where/how to see the live echo output.

I am testing a php script designed to run from the command line version of php and using php-cli.exe as the executable the debugger launches.

also are there any shortcut keys for step over, step into, and step out?

great product btw

thanks for any tips

You can set shortcut keys yourself from the Options menu.

No there is no console view, but you can see the PHP output in editor or in external web browser (according to your debugging settings).
