FTP Favorites

Post by Unquick »

It would be nice to have a favorites button in the File Explorer of the FTP section (beside the create new folder, refresh button). This would allow you to bookmark a highly used location on the ftp server and would allow you to quickly jump between directories.

I would expect that the favorites menu would be unique to each FTP site that you have listed in the File Explorer.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Interesting idea. I do not know whether many other users would benefit from such feature, so please post your votes here :-)

For me the current implementation (when the last opened FTP folder is remembered) seems ok.

this might be only my state of developement of late but I've found myself wishing I could click on a folder while in FTP and select 'Save as FTP site'. It's likely only because I've moved everything to a development server and I have all curent projects up on the same server, under different folders. And, ya know, I'm lazy.
