Hello,
I'm making a video screensaver. What, in the screensaver, determines how well the sceensaver plays in various computers? I use WMV as source media - does bit rate and resolution of this source video determine how well the screensaver plays in different computers? If not, what does? How can I best be sure that my screensaver plays well in whatever computer?
cheers
Janne

Re: What determines performance?
Regarding video screensavers, the video resolution does affect the performance on older/weaker computers. I think the best way to find out whether your video is playable on the older computers is to find a computer with the lowest specifications from the range that you want your screensaver to work well on, and test the screensaver on it.
