adding multiple folders of images or sub folders

In creating a screen saver of images, is it possible to add a large folder with many subfolders of images or does each sub folder need to be added individually?

I cannot find any feature that allows me to add multiple folders at once or one folder with sub folders included.

I may have discovered the answer myself. While the add file or add folder buttons will not allow multiple additions, one can drag and drop any number of files and folders all at once into the application window and it will accept them all.
