Home button functionality

Post by Unquick »

Hello,

Currently, the editor implements the default behavior for the Home button. I would like to propose that the home button first places the cursor on the beginning of any text (i.e. the first letter of indented text) and when pushed the second time it will place the cursor at the beginning of the line. This is the default behavior of many coding IDEs.

Vote if your interested.

Keep up the great work guys.

As long as it's optional - that behavior drives me crazy.

perhaps alt+home could take you to the beginning of the text in the future?

I dont think it's used for anything now.

I disagree -- All the major IDE's out there use this functionality by default; Visual Studio, Net Beans, NuSphere, etc.

Optional would be fine. The best applications always let you customize :D

I meant alt+home isn't used for anything now.

I put this suggestion in to my "not yet sure about" list. I might get further if I receive more votes :-)

I guess, this is decided. Will make it and it will be optional.
