.exe not compatible with 64-bit Windows 7

Is Screensaver Factory 6.5 supposed to be compatible with 64-bit Windows 7? I tried an exe file on a CD in a laptop with Windows 7 (64 bit) and it gives me an error message saying the version of the file is not compatible. I tried the .scr file from the same project and it installs correctly using the right click, install method.

It is compatible and it works on 64-bit Windows. Maybe CD was damaged and file read incorrectly?
